Birmingham Heritage Week - 7th - 17th September 2017

Birmingham Heritage Week is an event to showcase Birmingham's social, cultural and industrial heritage. It will consist of over 90 coordinated events to be held at heritage sites, museums, libraries and other venues across the city. It will take place from 7th - 17th September 2017.

One of the key objectives of the week is to encourage local communities and visitors alike to explore the city's historical venues and take part in a series of engaging activities which will highlight the rich and diverse history of Birmingham.

The Birmingham Heritage Week programme will include: guided walks, performances, talks, trails, exhibitions, exclusive access to notable buildings, workshops for children etc. There will be a mixture of charged and free events.

This is the second year of Birmingham Heritage Week. We want to build on the success of the 2016 event to create a regular, annual, vibrant festival for the people of Birmingham.
